Who I am
DualCert EPC Birmingham provides domestic Energy Performance Certificates in Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands. You can contact us at epccertificatebirmingham@gmail.com or on 07365 061790.
What I collect
When you request a quote or book an assessment I collect your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property to be assessed. I collect it only because I need it to contact you, attend the property and lodge the certificate.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange an appointment.
- To carry out the energy assessment and produce your certificate.
- To lodge the completed EPC on the government's national register, as accreditation rules require.
- To keep records required by my accreditation scheme.
Who I share it with
Your EPC is lodged on the official national EPC register, where it becomes publicly searchable by property address — this is a legal requirement, not a choice I make. I share your details with my accreditation scheme where they audit my work. I do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
How long I keep it
Assessment records are retained for the period my accreditation scheme requires. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. These cookies do not identify you personally. You can block them in your browser settings without affecting the site.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where I am not required to keep it. Email epccertificatebirmingham@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with my response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
